i'd go with cameron crowe, i think. though i'd like to say kevin smith, but i'm not funny enough.
I would pick Kevin Smith as well, or Joss Whedon. (he would have to write it too)
Spike Jonze! Or Sofia Coppola. It would be interesting to see them fight it out.
Oh God. Do I have to say it? Okay. I'll say it: Woody Allen. He'd make a poor schlep like me at least look half-intelligent and certainly much wittier than I really am.
