Once a showman...
Following the recent burglary of my car, I had to make a trip to a body shop to get an estimate on replacing the ashtray (also know as parking pass and loose change storage compartment). Across the street from the shop is Southern Memorial Cemetery, a place I'd passed many times before, but never stopped to visit. I took advantage of my proximity to wander over and snap a few photos.

It's a quiet little park first opened in 1941. It is notable — to me, anyway — for its small number of vertical markers, and for the giant painted elephant and lions memorial to the members of the Miami Showman's Association.
