Loose ends
I have a lot on my mind these days, most of which is of minimal interest to anyone (including me). While I get that business sorted out, here is another scattering of links and small thoughts. I suppose if Hidden City was a different kind of site, these would each be individual posts; I suppose that seven years ago, it was.
- Did you ever wonder where Wile E. Coyote kept his giant mallets? It's an odd dimension called hammerspace. It may also be where the ammo is kept in old westerns and B-grade action films.
- Is the Holy Grail located in the mysterious tunnels under a small English town? It's an old story, but there's surprisingly little follow-up. Does the lack of follow-up indicate a cover-up?
- What would happen to the world if every human on the planet vanished tomorrow?
- To my dismay, it appears that Peter Jackson won't be directing The Hobbit after all. That's too bad, as I thought the Lord of the Rings films showed a lot of respect for the source material and remained engrossing and epic films in their own right.
- Looking for a gift for that unrepentant techno-geek in your life? Consider a little something from Motherboard Gifts. They use reclaimed circuit boards to make key chains, business card cases, cuff links, and more.

Hammerspace, huh? I always thought they came from Tumbolia.
In Hoc Signo Vinces
Hey, at least I learned some Latin from watching Carnivale. Now if I could just get a copy of that cool Templar key fob like Henry Scudder's.
the motherboard gifts kick ass - the keyrings are very cool!
The Hobbit will definitely not be the same w/out Peter Jackson.
And I think the Holy Grail is in a cave in Jerusalem, probably next door to the cave that's holding the Arc of the Covenant.
You are too much...
