Open letter
Dear friends in Minnesota, Massachusetts, New York, Kentucky, Bavaria, and other snowy places:

Today I attended a picnic birthday party in Coconut Grove. The weather was warm, with a nice breeze. Hot dogs and hamburgers were grilled in the yard, and tropical beverages flowed freely.

Even though I may be am a jerk for posting these pictures while you are trapped in a wintry hell, please try not to hate me.

After all, thirty-six years later, I still miss snow.
Love, mkh

I went to New Jersey last week. Snow said it still misses you, too.
I miss snow, too. There isn't any in Boston. Hasn't been more than a dusting most of the winter so far. *sigh*
That said, I could TOTALLY go for a dip that there pool.

Awesome pictures! I have lived in So. Fla all my life and moved away for a few short years to a place that actually had 4 seasons. I miss the snow too.
*deep sigh*
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Can I borrow these to send to my in-laws in Wisconsin?
Kidding. They know what they're missing, and coincidentally they're visiting South Florida next week to get away from the cold.
I'm going to visit Snow for a few days this month. I'll give it your love.
This will make about the 12th or 14th time I've actually walked around in Snow. The novelty hasn't worn off yet, but I don't know that I'd want to live with it full time. I prefer the occasional illicit affaire.
That house and garden are so pretty!
