The legions of the damned die not
Above is the headline from a recent bit of spam which clawed its way into my inbox. It's remarkably apropos.
In the meaningless trivia department, I needed to go to CompUSA toady to pick up a replacement hard drive. While waiting for service I tried out a couple of the demo machines, and fired up a browser to see if anyone had left a comment here. To my surprise, the AOL "safe browsing" software of the PC blocked Hidden City as "Category: Sex." Woo, I am a big time pornographer now! I checked a couple of other URLs for fun, and discovered that Sex and the Beach is (predictably) a "sex" site, and Critical Miami is blocked for being a "chat" site. Stuck on the Palmetto, however, is as innocuous as Nickelodeon.
Take what you like from this.

Congrats! Your blog's not cool until it's been banned (look at BoingBoing, they're banned in Boston).
Marc, the sexiness of your blog has been discovered. You realize you'll have groupies now?
And Nicfitkid, that's funny about BoingBoing. I could see "overzealous" software catching that site in a dragnet, based on the name.
Bad blog. Very bad blog. Who gets a spanking?
