As Woody Allen famously quipped: "Don't knock masturbation; it's sex with someone I love." I don't know if that thought was in the mind of French art duo Pupsam when they created their exhibition SelfKiss, but it's applicable.

Using photo manipulation the artists created images of individuals passionately embracing themselves, and the results are remarkable, capturing a wide range of emotions and responses. There is ample humor, as well, and each picture tells several stories.

Disclaimers: Those of you surfing from work should know that a few have some mild nudity. Also, if homosexuality freaks you out, you probably don't want to click the link.
