New Year's Sunrise, 2007, Haulover Beach
If you find yourself at loose ends before 7am New Year's morning, please join me at Haulover Beach for a knowingly symbolic gesture: watching the sun rise on 2008. It is very low key and brief; I'll probably get to the beach around 6:30, watch the 7:07 sunrise, by 7:30 will be at Rascal House having corned beef hash, and by 8:30 be back home.
Whatever you do tonight and tomorrow, please be safe on the streets. From all of us at Hidden City Headquarters, we wish you a healthy, prosperous, and imaginative new year.

Happy New Year, and may 2008 be... something? Anyways, sorry I couldn't make it to this year's sunrise on Haulover, I still have that whole stranded in another state situation going on.
